How to Wear the AngelSense GPS Tracking Device

Designing a GPS tracker for kids may seem easy. Make it durable and make it small, and hopefully hard to lose! When the AngelSense team set out to create a GPS Tracking Device, they had more than just a child locator in mind. They wanted to create a solution specifically for full-day monitoring of children with special needs – children who might have sensory issues or obsessive behavior. The device needed to be technologically advanced, but also comfortable for its wearers.

Through research and testing, the AngelSense team created the GPS Tracking Device unique wearing system. Lightweight and unobtrusive, the GPS tracker for kids is placed inside a protective sleeve. The sleeve is then attached to the child’s clothing with magnetic fasteners that can only be removed by parents with a special key. The GPS Tracking Device is also discreet, for extra security.

Parents have multiple options of where to attach the device for optimal comfort:

Can the device be removed with any type of magnet?

It’s very difficult to remove but it is possible to use a very strong magnet such as one from a retail clothing store that is used to remove anti-theft clothing pins. If you need another magnet key for one that is missing, you can order it via your AngelSense app. It’s a good idea to have a spare one.

Hi Renee, the GPS signal will not be affected by clothing. However, it might cause the listen-in to not be as clear during usage.

My daughter wears dresses without pockets..suggestions on how a girl can wear this?

    • Sidra @ AngelSense July 27, 2017 at 9:45 am - Reply

      Hi Christy,
We have a accessory belt that can be worn under her dress. We are also about to launch our undershirt which has a pocket for the device. Some of our girls wear their trackers attached to a tank top or bra under a dress or at the top hem on the back. It comes with a fabric sleeve and fasteners that can be used to attach it to any fabric. If she wears tights or leggings, it can be attached to the waistline.
      Kind regards,
