Smart Voice: Transforming Communication for Families with Autism and Special Needs

Introducing Smart Voice

The new game-changing Smart Voice feature lets you create pre-recorded messages in our app that auto-play on your loved one’s device at exactly the right moment to which you set them—by location, time of day, or on demand.

As a parent or caregiver, your voice is a strong source of comfort and guidance to your loved one, even if you can’t physically or remotely be there with them. So we developed Smart Voice to make it easy to provide emotional support, as well as pre-record and schedule important reminders or instructions.

Examples of pre-recorded voice messages by location could be a friendly boost of reassurance when they arrive at school in the morning, or ‘there’s food in the microwave’ when they get back home. For safety, they might include proactive alerts when your loved one wanders, such as a message that automatically plays ‘come back home honey, you’re too far away’ when the AngelSense device senses your loved one is beyond a certain perimeter or distance.

Time-based voice messages often include reminders to take medication, to complete a task, or to provide predictable and expected sources of communication as emotional anchors throughout the day. For example, “It’s now 4pm, that means I’ll be home in just an hour. See you soon!”

And if you’re not available to talk but still want to communicate with them in your own voice with a simple: “can’t talk right now, love you”, then our on-demand pre-recorded messages make it easy to do so.

So our devices are purposefully designed to be easy and intuitive, with a dedicated SOS button that enables two-way voice communication at the touch of a single button. This eliminates the need for complex navigation or typing, allowing your loved one to quickly and easily call for support when needed.

Continuous all-day monitoring ensures that you always know your loved one’s whereabouts, whether the app is open or not. We’ll notify you of location changes and proactively alert you to potential emergencies, such as wandering incidents. And unlike a standard GPS tracker or smartphone, the battery life for both the smartwatch and the device are designed to be durable and long-lasting. 

During travel, the safe-ride monitoring feature gives you access to detailed routes, ETAs, and alerts for late arrivals or departures. And in case of emergencies, first-responder alerts deliver help from a personalized and pre-defined search team in seconds.

Designed with sensory-friendly principles in mind, our devices offer multiple wearing options to ensure comfort for those with sensory sensitivities, guaranteeing that the device stays with your loved one at all times. The tracking device can easily be made non-removable if necessary using simple magnetic pins.
